Compliance Officer / Head of Compliance / PSP

Remote / Poland | Full-time | CET time zone

We are looking for a Compliance Officer for the PSP department of a European fintech company.

The company provides a unified financial platform for individuals and businesses, including multi-currency accounts, international transfers, crypto-fiat solutions, payment cards, and digital asset management.

The company also operates as a Payment Service Provider, delivering payment infrastructure and acquiring solutions for online businesses, including high-risk merchants and iGaming clients across Europe.

The team is distributed and international, with a predominantly Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking working environment.

What you will do:

• Manage AML/CTF compliance and KYC/KYB onboarding processes for corporate clients across EU jurisdictions
• Lead and oversee the KYC/KYB onboarding team
• Oversee onboarding processes with payment systems, financial institutions, and business partners
• Review, validate, and verify onboarding documentation submitted by clients and partners
• Conduct compliance control procedures related to KYC/KYB documentation
• Work with risk scoring and decisioning models for crypto-fiat gateways, on-ramp/off-ramp, OTC, and card-linked products
• Monitor licensing requirements, regulatory updates, and compliance obligations across relevant jurisdictions
• Maintain and update internal compliance policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
• Ensure internal processes and controls remain compliant with AML, CTF, and broader regulatory requirements

We expect:

• Proven experience as a Head of Compliance / Compliance Officer / Senior Compliance Manager in PSP, payments, or fintech companies
• Strong experience with EU jurisdictions
• Hands-on knowledge of AML, CTF, KYC/KYB, merchant onboarding, and compliance procedures
• Experience managing compliance and onboarding processes
• Team management experience
• Experience with high-risk industries will be a strong plus
• Crypto / crypto-fiat / on-ramp / off-ramp experience will be a plus
• Fluent English
• Native Ukrainian
• Readiness to work in the CET time zone
