Senior Databricks Data Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Databricks Data Engineer to design, build, and modernize large-scale data platforms. This role combines deep hands-on engineering with strategic ownership of data platform initiatives, migration projects, and cross-functional collaboration in a cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data models.
• Lead and support large-scale data platform modernization and migration initiatives.
• Develop solutions using Databricks, AWS, and cloud-native technologies.
• Leverage LLM-powered tools for code translation and migration automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Optimize data platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Communicate technical solutions and project progress to stakeholders.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Strong practical experience with Databricks.
• 3+ years of experience building or migrating large corporate data platforms.
• Experience using LLM-powered tools for code translation or migration automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
• Solid data modeling skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• EU citizen, working from within the EU.
