Technical Support Engineer

We're looking for a Technical Support Engineer to handle day-to-day issues and bug reports from our customer - an AI platform. You'll be the first point of contact: understanding the issue, reproducing it, and either resolving it yourself or documenting it clearly for the developers. 
Working hours: 5:00 PM โ€“ 2:00 AM Kyiv time (EET/EEST), aligned with Los Angeles business hours.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Receive and respond to customer requests in a clear, professional manner 
  • Reproduce reported bugs manually to confirm they're real (vs. a misunderstanding) before escalating 
  • Create well-structured tickets with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behavior, severity, screenshots, and relevant context so developers can pick them up efficiently 

 

Requirements: 

  • Around 1 year of experience in a similar role (technical support, QA, or customer-facing engineering)  
  • Strong verbal and written English โ€” clear, precise, and audience-aware (B2 and above) 
  • Technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or related) 
  • Ability to write structured bug reports and support tickets 
  • Analytical mindset: able to isolate problems, spot patterns, and document findings 
  • Methodical, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity โ€” you triage early, flag blockers, and finish what you investigate 

     

Nice to have: 

  • Comfortable reading and interpreting code (understanding logic and spotting where failures might originate โ€” not writing production code) 
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and log analysis (reading responses, identifying error codes, tracing request flows)
