Responsibilities:

- Technical leadership of squad delivery (3 Senior PHP Laravel developers, DevOps, QA)

- Collaboration with the Engineering Principal / Transformation Lead

- Planning, estimation, code review, and quality oversight

- Maturing the team's ways of working

- Architectural decisions for the Transformation Squad

- Mentoring team members

- Reporting status and risks

Requirements:

- 5+ years of commercial PHP/Laravel development experience, including 2+ years as a Tech Lead/Team Lead

- Strong PHP/Laravel/MySQL knowledge

- Experience leading a team of 4-6 people

- Code review experience

- Understanding of CI/CD and GCP

- Confident English (B2+)

Nice to have:

- Monolith-to-microservice migration experience

- Couchbase/Redis/MongoDB/RabbitMQ

- Outsourced/nearshore experience with UK/EU clients

- E-commerce/marketplace experience

- GCP certifications
