Creative Strategy Lead
Terravo Group is a performance marketing company specializing in media buying and scaling high-performing advertising campaigns.
We are looking for a Creative Strategy Lead to lead and scale our Creative Strategy function. In this role, you will define the overall creative direction for performance marketing campaigns, mentor the creative strategy team, and work closely with media buyers, designers, producers, and analysts to maximize campaign performance.
This is a leadership role for someone who combines strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of what drives creative performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Creative Strategy team and oversee the development of high-performing advertising concepts.
- Define and execute the creative strategy across multiple products, verticals, and advertising platforms.
- Develop creative testing frameworks and establish best practices for creative production and optimization.
- Collaborate with Media Buying, Design, Analytics, and Production teams to ensure creative strategies align with business goals.
- Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve key metrics such as CTR, CVR, CPA, ROAS, CPM, and CPC.
- Mentor and support Creative Strategists, providing feedback and fostering professional growth.
- Build scalable creative processes, workflows, and documentation.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience research to identify new creative opportunities.
- Drive innovation by implementing new creative methodologies, AI tools, and industry best practices.
- Monitor emerging trends across digital advertising and ensure the team stays ahead of the market.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Creative Strategy, Performance Marketing, Growth Marketing, Media Buying, or a related field.
- Previous experience leading a creative team or managing cross-functional projects.
- Strong understanding of direct-response advertising and performance marketing.
- Proven experience developing creative strategies that drive measurable business results.
- Ability to analyze campaign data and transform insights into scalable creative strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, or other paid media platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in affiliate marketing or media buying.
- Experience building creative testing systems and experimentation frameworks.
- Knowledge of consumer psychology, behavioral marketing, and conversion optimization.
- Experience working with UGC strategies and creator ecosystems.
- Familiarity with AI tools for creative ideation and workflow automation.
- Experience scaling creative teams in fast-growing companies.
