WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
RankSector (part of ScaleValley companies) is an AI-powered growth platform helping agencies and businesses get discovered through AI search, organic content, and automated distribution. We're commercially pre-launch, founder-funded, and led by a repeat founder with two prior exits. The product, positioning, outbound stack, and partner economics are already built โ we now need the first commercial operator to turn that into a revenue engine.
This is a hands-on early commercial operator role, not a "manage a team and make slides" job. You'll work directly with the founder to turn the existing product, outbound infrastructure, and partner offer into a repeatable revenue engine. You'll build lists, write cold email, run campaigns, recruit partners, take calls, close deals, and keep improving the system.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Cold outbound to digital marketing, SEO, PPC, and web design agencies, plus adjacent B2B service businesses
- Partner and affiliate recruitment, especially agencies that can resell RankSector to their clients
- Campaign building using Instantly, Clay, Apify, warmed inboxes, enrichment workflows, and AI-agent playbooks
- Discovery calls with direct customers and white-label partners
- Closing direct customers and activating signed partners
- Partner follow-up through their first paying client
- Weekly written reporting on what's working and what should change
You won't be handed a perfect machine โ you'll get infrastructure, fast founder support, and a clear commercial offer. Your job is to make it produce.
THE OFFER YOU'LL SELL
RankSector helps agencies and businesses create, publish, and distribute content that improves organic visibility across Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI/search discovery channels. Early affiliate partners earn 40% recurring commission; agencies can refer clients or white-label the product. You'll help sharpen the pitch as real market data comes in.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- First 30 days โ Launch outbound campaigns to defined agency segments; recruit the first batch of qualified affiliate/reseller partners; book discovery calls; identify which ICPs, offers, and angles get replies; deliver a written recommendation on what to double down on.
- First 60 days โ Build consistent pipeline from outbound and partner recruitment; close initial direct customers and/or activate first producing partners; improve copy, targeting, enrichment, and follow-up; create a repeatable partner onboarding process.
- First 90 days (targets) โ 100โ180 recruited partners; 10โ18 producing partners or serious reseller opportunities; at least $5,000 in sourced MRR; a clear written growth playbook for the next stage.
Targets are formally reviewed at day 30 and recalibrated based on real campaign data. We care about revenue and producing partners, not vanity activity.
COMPENSATION
- Base: โฌ1,500/month
- Ramp guarantee: โฌ750/month minimum variable pay for the first 2 months (total pay won't drop below โฌ2,250/month during ramp)
- Direct-close commission: 25% of direct-closed MRR
- Affiliate/partner-sourced commission: 10% of affiliate-sourced MRR
- Commission duration: paid on collected revenue for each account's first 12 months
- Upside: uncapped
- Base increase: doubles to โฌ3,000/month after two consecutive months at or above $25,000 sustained sourced MRR
The two commission rates exist because affiliate-sourced revenue already includes the affiliate's own commission.
Example: Sourcing $4,000 direct-closed MRR + $6,000 affiliate-sourced MRR โ โฌ1,500 base + $1,000 direct commission + $600 partner commission โ โฌ3,100/month total (currency conversion dependent). As sourced MRR compounds, strong performers should reach โฌ4,000โโฌ7,500+/month.
Attribution is tracked via Stripe, Rewardful, and written CRM/source records โ sourcing shouldn't become a debate.
HOW WE WORK
Async, fast, high ownership: no daily standups, weekly written updates, fast founder feedback, decisions turned around within 12 hours when possible, clear ownership of your number, direct access to product/positioning/pricing decisions, no corporate politics.
This is a contractor role. You invoice through your own company or equivalent. The agreement includes standard confidentiality, IP assignment for work created for RankSector, and a 12-month non-solicitation clause.
WHAT MAKES SOMEONE EXCELLENT IN THIS ROLE
You're likely a strong fit if you have hands-on cold email campaign experience; know tools like Instantly, Smartlead, Clay, Apollo, Apify, BuiltWith, StoreLeads, or similar; can write cold email that gets replies; understand enrichment, segmentation, deliverability, inbox rotation, and testing; are comfortable using AI tools/agents to move faster; can run discovery calls in fluent English; can sell to agency owners and B2B service businesses; think commercially in pipeline, CAC, conversion, payback, MRR, and activation; prefer written communication over meetings; are comfortable with performance-based upside; and can operate without being told every next step.
Affiliate, reseller, agency sales, SEO, SaaS, or white-label experience is a strong plus.
