VoIP Tech Support Engineer

An international product company is looking for an experienced VoIP Tech Support Engineer to own business-critical communication systems powering customer interactions.

You'll work with cloud telephony providers, messaging platforms, APIs and automation while ensuring high availability and reliability across all communication channels.
 

Responsibilities

  • Administer cloud telephony platforms (Twilio, Vonage, Voximplant or similar)
  • Configure SIP trunks, routing rules, IVR, call queues and forwarding logic
  • Support voice, SMS, email and WhatsApp communication channels
  • Monitor service quality, spam reputation and delivery performance
  • Investigate incidents using logs and provider tools
  • Build integrations using REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks and WebSockets
  • Collaborate with software engineers on new communication features
  • Improve operational efficiency through automation
     

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP and IP telephony
  • Experience with cloud communication providers
  • Understanding of call routing and telecom infrastructure
  • Experience troubleshooting production systems
  • Comfortable reading logs and working with APIs
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher
