VoIP Tech Support Engineer

An international product company is looking for an experienced VoIP Tech Support Engineer to own business-critical communication systems powering customer interactions.
You'll work with cloud telephony providers, messaging platforms, APIs and automation while ensuring high availability and reliability across all communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Administer cloud telephony platforms (Twilio, Vonage, Voximplant or similar)
- Configure SIP trunks, routing rules, IVR, call queues and forwarding logic
- Support voice, SMS, email and WhatsApp communication channels
- Monitor service quality, spam reputation and delivery performance
- Investigate incidents using logs and provider tools
- Build integrations using REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks and WebSockets
- Collaborate with software engineers on new communication features
- Improve operational efficiency through automation
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP and IP telephony
- Experience with cloud communication providers
- Understanding of call routing and telecom infrastructure
- Experience troubleshooting production systems
- Comfortable reading logs and working with APIs
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher
