Laba Group is one of the largest international EdTech companies in Eastern Europe. Currently, our team consists of over 800 colleagues united by a single mission: to improve people’s lives through relevant and systematic knowledge.

In 10 years, we have launched over 1,400 courses and educated more than 200,000 students globally. We have also created 5 online education brands:

  • Laba — an online business school
  • Skvot — a school of popular culture
  • robot_dreams — a platform for growth in IT
  • Vocabulaba — a school of English for professionals
  • elvtr — an online school in the US and the UK

We are looking for a Recruitment Operations Lead to build and own a scalable, standardized, and data-driven recruitment model across all company markets.

This role owns recruitment operations globally by defining hiring standards, processes, KPIs, reporting, and capacity planning. Instead of recruiting directly, you will enable and coordinate local recruitment teams, monitor hiring performance, identify bottlenecks before they impact the business, and ensure timely hiring for critical roles, especially Sales Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and analyze recruitment funnel performance across all markets, including conversion rates, time-to-fill, time-to-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rate, pipeline coverage, and cost-per-hire.
  • Identify, test, and scale the most effective candidate sourcing channels, with a primary focus on Sales hiring and local market specifics.
  • Monitor hiring plan execution across local recruitment teams through standardized KPIs, dashboards, and regular reporting.
  • Lead recruitment capacity planning by forecasting hiring demand, identifying risks and bottlenecks early, and ensuring recruitment capacity aligns with business growth plans.
  • Track and control recruitment budgets across markets.
  • Continuously optimize recruitment processes by improving funnel efficiency, standardizing hiring stages, defining SLAs with Hiring Managers, and eliminating bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement global recruitment standards, processes, and best practices while adapting them to local market requirements.
  • Coordinate local recruitment teams to ensure consistent hiring practices across countries in a matrix environment.
  • Partner closely with the Global CEO, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and local leaders to align hiring priorities, workforce plans, and recruitment capacity.
  • Prepare regular recruitment performance reports and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.

A key focus is proactively identifying hiring risks and bottlenecks to ensure recruitment capacity is aligned with business needs, including lead generation, product, and sales targets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, including 2–3+ years in a functional or leadership role with ownership of the recruitment function, not just team management.
  • Experience leading recruitment across multiple countries, regions, or large distributed organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience managing recruitment metrics, funnel analysis, capacity planning, and hiring forecasting.
  • Proven experience in high-volume Sales recruitment, including hiring for high-turnover roles and optimizing market-specific sourcing channels.
  • Experience planning and managing recruitment budgets.
  • Hands-on experience in Recruitment Operations (RecOps), including designing recruitment processes, defining SLAs, and standardizing hiring workflows.
  • Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher.

Skills that would be “nice to have”:

  • Multimarket experience (Ukraine, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, or similar markets) with understanding of differences in sourcing channels, salary expectations, and local labor market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to drive execution without direct authority, influencing outcomes through processes, metrics, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong proficiency with ATS, dashboards, and analytics tools; high level of data literacy.
  • Experience participating in or leading large-scale operational or transformation projects.
  • Experience building or standardizing recruitment processes from scratch.
