As a Lead Frontend Engineer at Drawer.AI, you will lead the frontend development of our AI-powered platform for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. You’ll drive frontend architecture, mentor engineers, and work closely with Product, Design, AI, and Backend teams to build fast, scalable, and highly interactive web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead frontend architecture and technical decision-making.
• Design, build, and maintain complex React applications.
• Drive performance optimization and scalability across the frontend.
• Mentor frontend engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Collaborate closely with Product, AI, Backend, and Design teams.
• Establish frontend best practices and engineering standards.
• Own technical delivery from architecture to production.
   

Requirements:

• 8+ years of frontend development experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on React experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading frontend teams or acting as a Tech Lead.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture and state management.
• Experience building complex, data-heavy, or highly interactive web applications.
• Strong experience with performance optimization and browser rendering.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to make architectural decisions and drive technical direction.

Nice to have:

• Experience with WebGL, Three.js, or React Three Fiber.
• Experience building engineering or visualization products.
• Experience with Canvas, SVG, or real-time rendering.
• Experience working in B2B SaaS startups.
• Experience with AI-powered products or developer tools.
