About the Project

Responsibilities:

• Configure, test, and troubleshoot smart devices and connected hardware systems;
• Support testing and validation of mobile applications and SDK integrations across Android and iOS platforms;
• Assist with reproducing and investigating software/hardware integration issues;
• Work with physical devices in a lab/test environment;
• Analyze requirements and help validate technical flows and integrations;
• Create and maintain technical and testing documentation;

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience in software engineering, mobile development, QA, or a related technical role
• 1-2+ years with React-Native 
• Understanding of mobile technologies and development concept. More developer than tester — someone who can fix and rewrite code, not just find bugs
• API integrations — must be comfortable working with REST APIs
• Familiarity with mobile integrations, SDK integrations (Kotlin, Swift - nice to have)
• Interest in IoT systems, smart devices, or hardware/software integrations (any experience with this would be a strong plus)
• Comfort working with physical devices and technical documentation
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Engineering mindset with curiosity about how systems work together

• Good English communication skills.

   

Additional (good-to-have) skills

• Experience with Automated testing;
• Experience with CI/CD (CircleCI, GitHub Actions);
• Basic hands-on experience with hardware setup and configuration (smart home devices, IoT systems, or similar);
• Familiarity with keyless entry systems, smart locks, thermostats, or other connected devices;
• Comfort working with physical devices in a test environment — setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware based on technical documentation;
• Experience with API testing;
• Basic understanding of mobile logs and debugging tools.

We're looking for a Content Manager with 1+ year of experience and a strong command of the Norwegian language and local expressions.

• Native Norwegian speaker or C1 level and above;
