Senior QA Engineer

 Our client is a mobile gaming company shipping consumer iOS games to a global audience. Quality is a first-class concern for them — they test deep, break things early, and ship with confidence. The QA team is embedded in the product process from day one, not bolted on at the end.

About the role We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who knows iOS mobile inside out. You will own the testing of complex game flows, validate API contracts, dig into databases, and use proxy tools to understand exactly what's happening under the hood. If you love breaking things and have the receipts to prove it, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for iOS mobile game features (functional, regression, edge cases)
• Use proxy tools (ProxyMan, Charles) to intercept and analyze network traffic
• Test APIs via Postman and Swagger; validate backend responses against front-end behavior
• Work directly with databases to verify data integrity and game state
• File clear, reproducible bug reports and follow them through to resolution
• Identify gaps in coverage and push for better testability at the product level
• Integrate AI tools into QA workflows to improve coverage speed and test case generation
   

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience with a focus on iOS mobile apps
• Hands-on experience with proxy tools (ProxyMan, Charles, or equivalent)
• API testing with Postman and/or Swagger
• Proficiency with database querying and management tools
• Solid understanding of iOS platform behavior, OS versions, and device-specific quirks
• Daily use of AI tools in QA work
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher (B2+)
   

Nice to have

• Experience testing mobile games
• Familiarity with game mechanics, economies, or live ops testing
   

Conditions

• Full-time or part-time (3 days/week)
• Remote with occasional travel to team offsites
