Manual QA/Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join onPoint Studio and help ensure the highest quality standards across our web development projects.

In this role, you'll plan and execute testing activities, identify and track defects, collaborate closely with developers, Project Managers, and clients, and be responsible for validating functionality, usability, and performance against specified requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ analyze project requirements and estimate testing efforts;

✅ design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and testing checklists;

✅ perform functional, regression, performance, usability, compatibility, and security testing;

✅ validate project deliverables to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards;

✅ identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira or similar tools;

✅ develop and maintain automated tests to improve testing efficiency;

✅ collaborate closely with developers, Project Managers, designers, and clients throughout the development lifecycle;

✅ create and maintain project testing documentation, project documentation, and testing instructions;

✅ accurately track work time and report testing progress on assigned tasks;

✅ contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product quality.

Requirements:

✨ 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in IT;

✨ experience testing web applications and digital products;

✨ solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC;

✨ experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools;

✨ experience creating test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, bug reports);

✨ strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills;

✨ ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients;

✨ English — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.

Nice to Have:
