Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python / TypeScript)

We're an AI-first SaaS startup modernizing how professional services firms handle their core work — documents, search, and matter management. Our software automates workflows that used to require hours of manual effort.

We're looking for a senior engineer who can own large chunks of product end-to-end: design the architecture, build it, ship it to production, and keep it running. No hand-holding, no waiting for specs to be handed down.

What you'll do

• Take full technical ownership of complex features — from architecture to deployment
• Build and ship AI-powered workflows: LLM agents, document processing pipelines, tool calling
• Design backend systems that hold up under load: APIs, async workers, queues, third-party integrations
• Debug production issues across the full stack using traces and logs
• Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) as a daily part of your workflow — not occasionally, but habitually

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering
• Strong Python with FastAPI (or similar) and TypeScript with React
• Advanced SQL and schema design — PostgreSQL preferred
• Cloud infrastructure experience: Azure, AWS, or GCP; Docker; CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of async system design: reliable APIs, workers, queues
• Production experience with LLM features, agents, prompt workflows, and RAG/search systems
• Hands-on with observability tools: Datadog, PostHog, Langfuse, or OpenTelemetry
• Track record of autonomous, end-to-end delivery — you've shipped production systems solo before
