Talisa is an established global e-commerce brand in personalized jewelry, serving international customers and continuously developing its digital, marketing, and operational capabilities.
Balto Health is a growing U.S. healthcare / telehealth product that helps patients access medications, insurance support, lab testing, and personalized care through an online process.
U.S.-based technology projects include selected engineering projects for external clients, including a major U.S. real estate company. Some project details are confidential and cannot be disclosed publicly.
We are growing and want to strengthen our HR function for one of our product / technology directions.
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and structured HR Manager who can take ownership of recruitment, support managers and employees, and help improve HR processes in a remote international team.
The role will focus mainly on one of our product / technology projects, with close cooperation with hiring managers, finance, and company leadership. We need a person who brings structure, clear communication, and practical improvements to HR and recruitment processes.
Location and Cooperation Format
The role is fully remote. We are especially interested in Ukrainian HR professionals who understand the Ukrainian IT market and contractor / FOP cooperation model. Candidates based outside Ukraine, especially in the EU, the U.S., or other stable locations, are welcome.
Cooperation format: official contract / contractor format, depending on the candidateβs location and legal setup.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for IT, product, operational, and business roles.
- Work with hiring managers to clarify requirements, candidate profiles, salary ranges, and hiring priorities.
- Prepare job descriptions, source candidates through relevant job boards and online platforms, including international channels, and build candidate pipelines.
- Conduct screening interviews and assess candidates by experience, motivation, communication style, ownership, and cultural fit.
- Provide regular recruitment updates, including pipeline status, risks, bottlenecks, next steps, market feedback, and salary expectations.
HR Processes
- Support onboarding, adaptation, probation period follow-up, feedback collection, and offboarding.
- Support performance review cycles together with managers.
- Help improve employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, probation, feedback, development, retention, and offboarding.
- Act as a reliable HR contact point for employees and managers.
Employee Welfare & Company Well-being
- Support employee welfare initiatives that help people stay engaged, informed, and connected in a remote environment.
- Help the company maintain a healthy, transparent, and practical communication culture across teams and projects.
- Support internal communication, engagement activities, and team initiatives when needed.
HR Operations & Documentation
- Help structure and improve HR processes, policies, guidelines, and internal instructions.
- Maintain HR documentation in Confluence or similar tools and track HR/recruitment tasks in Jira.
Support implementation or improvement of HR systems and automation where needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in HR, HR Manager, People Partner, HR Generalist, Recruitment Partner, or a similar role.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in IT, product, SaaS, e-commerce, or technology companies.
- Experience working directly with hiring managers and sourcing candidates through job boards and online platforms.
- Understanding of the Ukrainian IT market and contractor / FOP cooperation model.
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
- Good understanding of core HR processes: onboarding, probation, performance reviews, employee support, documentation, and offboarding.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar documentation/knowledge base tools.
- Ability to write clear process descriptions, policies, instructions, and internal guidelines.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English level, both written and spoken.
Strong ownership mindset, structured communication, and ability to work independently without constant supervision.
Nice to Have
- Experience with PeopleForce.io or similar HRIS systems.
- Experience building HR processes from scratch or improving existing processes.
- Experience recruiting DevOps, QA, developers, product, support, or operations roles.
- Experience sourcing Ukrainian professionals outside Ukraine.
- Experience preparing HR analytics, recruitment reports, salary benchmarks, or mentoring recruiters / HR assistants.
