Role Overview

ProxyScrape is hiring  Sales Lead (Individual Contributor) to build and scale the company’s B2B sales function from the ground up.

 

This is a foundational role with full ownership over revenue generation and sales development. You will work directly with the founders to define how sales is done, what works, and how the company scales commercially.

 

We are looking for an experienced Sales Lead who understands the proxy, web scraping, and data collection industry, has consistently delivered results, and knows how to turn opportunities into revenue. The ideal candidate can quickly contribute without requiring extensive onboarding.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Own B2B revenue generation end-to-end, from prospecting to closing and expansion.
  • Build the outbound engine from scratch, including messaging, targeting, and sequencing.
  • Create and manage a high-quality pipeline of opportunities across key industries.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle and convert them into long-term customers.
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Work closely with founders on positioning, pricing feedback, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Define and implement sales processes, playbooks, and best practices.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Experienced Sales Lead or senior individual contributor with a track record of exceeding targets in B2B sales.
  • Understands the proxy, web scraping, and data collection industry.
  • Experience selling proxy products, web scraping solutions, or closely related data infrastructure.
  • Ability to quickly contribute without requiring extensive onboarding.
  • Strong sales execution combined with commercial thinking.
  • Ability to proactively create opportunities rather than wait for them.
  • Ability to build relationships, navigate technical conversations, identify customer needs, and consistently close business.
  • Comfortable operating independently with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

 

What Success Looks Like
 

In your first 6–12 months, you will:

 

  • Establish a repeatable outbound motion that consistently generates qualified pipeline.
  • Generate new revenue opportunities across target industries and markets.
  • Close new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Contribute to building a scalable sales process and commercial foundation.

 

Success is measured by revenue growth, pipeline creation, process quality, and your impact on building a scalable sales function.
