Globy is where freight gets priced, matched and moved. 100,000+ businesses use the platform across our freight marketplace, freight and load calculators, and unclaimed cargo marketplace. Our users are shippers, freight forwarders, carriers, 3PLs and importers/exporters who need faster quotes and better matches than the incumbents give them.
We compete in the same space as Freightos, Searates and Alibaba, and we win where they are slow or generic. We have built the product and the audience. Now we are turning that audience into revenue, and we are hiring the person who will lead that.
And we are looking for an experienced and active individual who is confident in their ability to lead a small team of sales and onboarding managers.
What You'll Do
This is a founding sales role. You will build Globy's monetization motion from the ground up, sell it yourself first, then build and coach a small team to scale it.
Your mission: turn our user base and inbound demand into predictable paying revenue, and build and lead the team that scales it.
In your first months you will:
- Build a sales process that sells our packages and converts free users to paying
- Close the first wave of paying customers yourself through outbound to shippers and inbound from the platform
- Set up the CRM, pipeline and weekly reporting so the number is always visible
Once the motion works, you will hire and coach 1โ3 reps and hold the team to the numbers in the scorecard above.
What success looks like (your scorecard):
- 10โ15 packages closed in your first months, scaling to 30โ50 by end of year
- Free-to-paid conversion from current % to target %
- 1-3 reps hired and ramped to quota
- A documented playbook the team runs without you babysitting it
Compensation: solid base plus 10% commission on all sales you and your team generate, uncapped. The more the platform earns, the more you earn.
Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week.
This Will Be For You Ifโฆ
- You have 5+ years in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS and/or logistics/freight
- You have built or been the first sales hire on a motion that did not exist yet
- You have a clear track record of closing and beating quota, with numbers you can show
- Converting free or freemium users to paid is something you have done before (a strong plus)
- You build process, not just run someone else's
- You are fluent in English and work within European timezone overlap
- Logistics or freight domain knowledge is a strong bonus
