Senior / Lead Full Stack Developer (Commercetools / Sanity CMS)

We are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Developer / Solution Architect to join our team and help design and deliver modern digital commerce solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong backend background while remaining comfortable working across the full stack.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable digital commerce solutions and web services.
• Lead the architecture and technical implementation of complex web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and operations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor other developers.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js.
• Solid experience with React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience designing and building scalable APIs and web services.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and the complete web development lifecycle.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Comfortable working across both backend and frontend when required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Finnish language skills are considered a strong advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with commercetools.
• Experience with Sanity CMS.
• Experience with Stripe, Contentful, Akeneo, Bluestone PIM, Vercel, or Omnium.
• Previous experience in digital commerce (eCommerce) projects.
• Experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Lead Developer.
• Background in consulting or client-facing technical roles.
• Experience designing composable commerce architectures.
