Senior/Lead Business Analyst for Energy program (IRC298700)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead BA to join our program team. The BA will play a pivotal role in driving business analysis activities, ensuring accurate requirement gathering, and bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the technical team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in conducting discoveries, both onsite and remotely, with experience in the energy and/or manufacturing domains.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a Senior/Lead role.
- Strong experience in gathering, analyzing, and specifying requirements.
- Proven experience with discovery phases, both remote and onsite.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to translate them into business/technical requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken).
- Experience in energy and/or manufacturing domains.
- Good understanding of the AI project lifecycle.
- Ability and willingness to travel abroad for short-term business trips will be a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Good understanding of the client's strategic objectives, business processes, and pain points that can be addressed through AI-driven solutions
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation for the AI project(s).
- Experience with building and delivering PoCs, PoVs, MVPs and productive builds of AI use cases
- Conduct discovery ideation workshops (onsite and remote) with business stakeholders and SMEs to identify needs and expectations.
- Detailing, assessing and prioritizing business needs, converting them into clear AI use cases for data scientists, AI engineers, and development teams working together with business stakeholders and SMEs
- Assess the feasibility and business value of proposed AI use cases and support prioritization based on expected outcomes and organizational goals.
- Define success criteria, key performance indicators (KPIs), and acceptance criteria for AI models and AI-enabled features.
- Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional and non-functional requirements for AI and data-related initiatives.
- Anticipate and identify corner cases, edge scenarios, and potential gaps in requirements, proposing solutions.
- Act as a bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring alignment of business goals with technical solutions.
- Support prioritization of requirements and manage the product backlog where required.
- Ensure compliance with the client's internal processes.
- Prepare and participate in client meetings, presentations, and workshops.
Department/Project Description
A program of projects within the Energy domain. We will work on various applications covering generation control, distribution control, transmission control, and service crews control. The implementation area of these products is very high-scale (e.g. country-wide systems).
