Financial Controller / Financial Reporting Consultant β€” Holding Reporting, IFRS & ERP Transformation

 

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial controlling, financial planning, management reporting, group reporting and IFRS. The role will focus on reviewing reporting principles across the holding’s legal entities, identifying inconsistencies or gaps, and ensuring that entity-level financial information can be reliably aggregated into accurate, consistent and meaningful holding-level reporting.

The successful candidate will work closely with shareholders, executive management, accounting teams and ERP implementation specialists to design financial processes, reporting structures and system requirements that support transparent, timely and stakeholder-relevant reporting across the group.

 

Key Responsibilities

β€” Analyse accounting policies, reporting principles, chart of accounts, cost centre structures and financial processes across the holding’s entities.

β€” Assess whether entity-level reporting can be accurately mapped, reconciled and aggregated into holding-level management and financial reporting.

β€” Identify gaps, inconsistencies or risks that may affect consolidation, comparability, data quality or stakeholder interpretation of financial results.

β€” Design and improve group-level reporting frameworks, including management reporting, shareholder reporting and IFRS-aligned reporting packages.

β€” Support financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance reporting.

β€” Define holding-level reporting requirements that are relevant for shareholders, executive management, lenders and other key stakeholders.

β€” Work with accounting and finance teams to align local reporting practices with group-level reporting requirements and IFRS principles.

β€” Translate financial controlling, planning, reporting and consolidation requirements into clear functional requirements for ERP/Odoo implementation teams.

β€” Support the design of reporting dashboards, management reports, consolidation outputs and financial control checks in the ERP environment.

β€” Recommend improvements to reporting processes, data quality controls, approval workflows, financial governance and management information.

 

Requirements

β€” Strong background in financial controlling, financial planning, management reporting, group reporting or financial consulting.

β€” Good understanding of IFRS, group reporting and consolidation principles.

β€” Experience working with multi-entity, holding-company or international business structures.

β€” Ability to analyse entity-level reporting practices and assess their suitability for holding-level aggregation and stakeholder reporting.

β€” Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, performance reporting and management information.

β€” Understanding of chart of accounts design, cost centre structures, intercompany transactions, reporting mappings and reconciliation processes.

β€” Experience working with ERP systems; Odoo experience is an advantage.

β€” Ability to communicate clearly with finance, business, shareholder and technical stakeholders.

β€” Practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to turn finance requirements into implementable processes and system specifications.

 

Nice to Have

β€” Experience in ERP implementation, finance transformation or reporting automation projects.

β€” Experience working with international businesses, multiple currencies or cross-border reporting structures.

β€” Experience collaborating with development teams, business analysts or ERP consultants in Agile or project-based environments.

β€” Professional finance qualification or progress towards ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
