Business Analyst

We are building a digital learning platform for maritime education and training. Our goal is to create a modern digital university for maritime professionals, combining LMS, certifications, and real-world industry integration. We are currently at an early stage and working with an Open edX vendor to build and customise the core platform.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is comfortable working at the intersection of business and technology to join our early-stage team.

What you’ll work on:
- Gathering and structuring requirements from stakeholders
- Writing user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications
- Describing workflows, data flows and expected system behaviour
- Working closely with developers and the vendor team
- Ensuring requirements are clear, consistent and technically feasible

What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in business or system analysis (preferably in IT)
- Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements
- Basic understanding of backend concepts
- Ability to understand APIs and data structures is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams
- English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
