Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer for our partner, a growing software company based in Spain.

Our partner combines product development with client-facing engineering work. They build their own products in the search and AI space while also delivering software solutions for large enterprise customers. As part of their international engineering team, you will take ownership of the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud environments that power a live production platform.

This is a fully remote contract role with an initial commitment through the end of the year and the possibility of long-term extension.

Responsibilities

* Own and manage containers, orchestration platforms, and Infrastructure-as-Code environments.

* Design, build, and improve CI/CD pipelines.

* Ensure reliability, performance, and availability of production systems.

* Lead the migration from the current cloud environment to a modern cloud architecture.

* Automate operational processes through scripting and tooling.

* Participate in architecture and technical decision-making.

* Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

* Utilize AI-powered development tools where they provide measurable value.

Requirements

Technical

* 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.

* Strong hands-on experience with:

* Docker

* Kubernetes

* Terraform

* GitHub Actions

* Experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.

* Strong AWS experience is especially valued.

* Azure experience is a significant advantage.

* Solid scripting skills with Bash and Python.

* Experience building and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.

* Practical experience using AI coding and automation tools.

Communication

* English level B2 or higher.

* Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Comfortable working directly with international teams and clients.

* Strong written communication and documentation skills.
