We are currently looking for a Technical Product Owner / Product Manager at a German product company (B2B SaaS / Gym OS)

 

This is a fast-growing German B2B SaaS product company that develops a universal operating system for fitness clubs. We are building the Gym Operating Systemβ€”a large-scale B2B SaaS ecosystem for the digitization and automation of large fitness chains and wellness facility networks (billing, payment processing, AI chatbot integration, customer management).

 

This role turns product requirements into clear, buildable work for Engineering and keeps delivery structured from idea/requirement to release. The goal is to make product development faster and more reliable through clear stories, clean prioritization, functional testing, and better delivery processes.

 

Tasks:

  • Turn requirements into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Break down complex topics into small, shippable increments
  • Keep the backlog clean, prioritized and ready for development
  • Clarify dependencies, edge cases and open questions before implementation starts
  • Keep the delivery plan and product board up to date
  • Plan iterations, releases and go live steps together with Product, Engineering and Customer Success
  • Support Engineering during implementation and answer product questions
  • Coordinate testing and own the functional sign off of completed stories
  • Make sure finished work matches the agreed scope, acceptance criteria and product logic
  • Improve delivery workflows and reporting, for example through board sync, status reports or notifications

     

What we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to turn unclear requirements into clear product logic
  • Excellent prioritization skills across customer needs, product scope and delivery effort
  • Structured, reliable and independent way of working
  • Good technical understanding of SaaS products and software processes
  • Ability to work closely with developers and support them during implementation
  • High-quality standards and a strong eye for details, logic and edge cases
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Experience with B2B SaaS products is a plus
