Business Analyst
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Business Analyst who will work in a fast-paced environment of a growing DefTech company.
Responsibilities:
- Run discovery sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Run build-vs-buy assessments for new systems or capabilities.
- Model current and target business process states and identify opportunities for improvement before any system change is proposed.
- Define scope for each initiative โ what's in, what's out, what's nice-to-have.
- Write functional specifications precise enough for developers to build from.
- Maintain a working glossary and decision log for each initiative.
- Facilitate stakeholder demos and reviews; turn feedback into actionable change requests.
- Keep documentation in Azure DevOps up to date.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (or equivalent) on business systems or internal product initiatives.
- Strong requirements-elicitation skills - running interviews and workshops, asking questions that uncover what stakeholders actually need rather than what they first ask for.
- Strong stakeholder facilitation - comfortable leading workshops with mixed audiences (executives, operations, engineers).
- Proficiency in business process modeling.
- Hands-on experience with scope modeling techniques โ context diagrams, functional decomposition.
- Ability to write clear functional specifications.
- Experience working in Azure DevOps, Jira, or an equivalent issue tracker โ backlog management, work item linking, traceability.
- Structured, system-level thinking.
- Self-management and initiative โ comfortable owning an initiative end-to-end without close supervision.
Nice to have:
- Experience with the Microsoft business stack: Dynamics 365, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), Microsoft 365, Power BI.
- Practical experience using Claude, Claude Code, or similar AI agents to accelerate analysis, documentation, and exploration work.
- Background in Defense / MilTech or in manufacturing- and operations-heavy environments.
We offer:
- Official employment in accordance with Ukrainian labor law.
- Military service deferment.
- Modern working equipment.
- Regular performance reviews to support your professional growth.
- 24 working days of paid vacation annually.
- Paid sick-leaves.
- English language classes.
- Compensation for educational and training programs.
- Team buildings and corporate events in a friendly and collaborative environment.
