SQA Solution is looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team and help support hiring for some of the most exciting startups in the Bay Area, New York, and Seattle.

This is a unique opportunity to work on hiring initiatives for venture-backed companies ranging from Seed to Series B, including AI, SaaS, Developer Tools, Infrastructure, Data, and Enterprise Software startups. You’ll help identify, engage, and attract exceptional talent while gaining exposure to startup hiring and talent acquisition at a high level.

 

The role is heavily focused on sourcing and candidate engagement. We’re looking for recruiters who enjoy finding exceptional talent, building relationships, and driving candidates through the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Source top-tier candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, referrals, and other sourcing channels
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for technical and business roles
  • Conduct recruiter screens and assess candidate fit
  • Engage passive candidates through personalized outreach
  • Coordinate candidate communication throughout the recruiting process
  • Maintain recruiting activity and candidate tracking

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting
  • Strong sourcing experience and ability to generate qualified candidate pipelines
  • Experience recruiting for software engineering and technical positions
  • Strong understanding of technical screening and candidate evaluation
  • Experience working with startups and understanding startup hiring environments
  • Knowledge of the startup ecosystem, venture-backed companies, and early-stage hiring dynamics
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple searches simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher
  • Availability for at least partial overlap with U.S. Pacific (PST) business hours

Compensation

This is currently a commission-based opportunity with strong earning potential.

Compensation includes:

  • Commission on successful placements
  • Weekly performance bonuses for interview generation ($600—$1000), based on candidate quality and interview generation goals
  • Opportunity to transition to a base salary + commission structure based on performance
