CRM and Automation Specialist (Zendesk / Shopify / AI)

As we continue to scale across multiple channels and serve a growing customer base, we are looking for a CRM & Automation Specialist to take ownership of our customer support technology ecosystem.
You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing our Zendesk, Shopify, and Siena AI infrastructure, proactively identifying issues before they impact customers, and building scalable systems that support long-term growth.

What you'll do:
CRM & Automation Management
- Own and optimize Zendesk and Shopify workflows, automations, tagging, and integrations.
- Improve support operations by reducing manual work and streamlining agent processes.
- Ensure accurate and reliable data flow between systems.
AI Support Systems (Siena AI)
- Monitor, test, and optimize AI performance and customer experience.
- Identify and resolve bugs, broken logic, and integration issues.
- Improve AI responses through prompt and knowledge base optimization.
Troubleshooting & System Reliability
- Investigate and resolve issues across Zendesk, Shopify, APIs, and AI platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative monitoring.
Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the main point of contact for AI and support technology vendors.
- Partner with Support, Marketing, Retention, and Operations teams to build scalable solutions.
- Drive system improvements, feature requests, and automation initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking support performance, AI quality, and automation effectiveness.
- Analyze trends and data to identify customer, product, and operational issues before they become larger problems.
What you bring:
Required Experience
- Strong experience in Zendesk administration.
- Experience working in e-commerce environments.
- Experience building workflows, automations, and support operations systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience working with large datasets and reporting.
Technical Skills
- Zendesk (Critical): Administration, Triggers, Automations, Macros, Integrations, Zendesk Explore.
- Shopify: Customer architecture, Orders and fulfillment flows, Tags and customer segmentation, Metafields.
- AI Platforms: Siena AI or similar AI customer support tools, Understanding of LLM behavior and prompt engineering.
- Data & QA: Root cause analysis, System testing, Data validation, Dashboard building.
