Automation QA Engineer (Middle/Senior)

We (ElevateOS) are excited to offer a long-term opportunity for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join a team of professional engineers and designers. Together, you'll be working on a US-based PropTech product that's set to make a significant impact on the real estate scene. ElevateOS has been improving the resident experience for over seven years. We created a single, all-in-one platform that makes it easy for property managers and resident staff to work together. Our goal is simple: to provide the best experience for residents by replacing multiple, confusing apps with one easy solution.

Our primary technology stack revolves around JavaScript. We use React for the front-end, Node.js for the back-end, and React Native for mobile development.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer

Experience with automated testing (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar) 

Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts

Experience writing Test cases and Test plans

Experience with Traceability Matrix development

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions)

Knowledge of Git (reading PRs, understanding changes)

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies

Strong knowledge of test design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, decision tables, etc.)

Proficiency in manual Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), and Requirements testing

Familiarity with writing test documentation, requirements review, and creating bug reports

Experience using AI-assisted tools in QA workflow (e.g. test case generation, bug analysis)

Ability to take ownership of quality, communicate proactively with developers, PMs, and QA team members

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment

Attention to detail and critical thinking

English - Upper-Intermediate

Additional (good-to-have) skills:

Experience with performance or security testing

Familiarity with PropTech or real estate domain

Responsibilities:

Analysis of requirements and identifying gaps, ambiguities, and open questions

Writing and executing functional, regression, and exploratory test cases

Identifying usability, performance, and cross-platform issues during testing

Developing and maintaining automated test scripts

Conducting exploratory testing - simultaneous tests of design and functionality

Verification of multi-device and cross-platform consistency (Web + iOS/Android)

Creating detailed bug reports and suggesting improvements to product quality

Participation in planning meetings and providing feedback to the team

Writing and maintaining test documentation
