Senior Product Designer

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Product Designer.

About the Role

The Senior Product Designer will own product design end-to-end, working closely with product, engineering, and domain stakeholders to identify user problems, design solutions, validate concepts, and deliver high-quality user experiences.

The role also includes contributing to the design system, maintaining design quality standards, and mentoring junior designers.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and contextual inquiry

- Translate research findings into problem statements, journey maps, and design principles

- Own the full design process from concepts to production-ready specifications

- Create high-fidelity prototypes to validate ideas and communicate design intent

- Design experiences across web, iOS, and Android platforms

- Contribute to the design system with new components, patterns, and documentation

- Identify and resolve design inconsistencies across the product

- Collaborate closely with engineering during implementation

- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback

- Work with QA and domain stakeholders to validate delivered experiences

- Support and mentor junior designers

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX / Product Design

- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product ownership

- Experience planning and conducting user research

- Expert-level proficiency with Figma (component libraries, auto-layout, prototyping, design systems)

- Strong systems-thinking skills across multiple platforms and user touchpoints

- Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, and domain experts

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Excellent English communication skills

- Ability to work independently and bring structure to ambiguous problems

Nice to Have:

- Experience designing for regulated or safety-critical industries (healthcare, fintech, medtech, etc.)

- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards

- Experience with large-scale design systems, tokens, theming, and component governance

- Experience designing data-dense dashboards

- Experience working in distributed, async-first teams

- Familiarity with FHIR or healthcare data structures

- Experience using AI-assisted design or prototyping tools
