Game developer (iGaming)

Our client is a Barcelona-based iGaming company specializing in the development of online slot games for international markets. With a catalogue of 150+ titles and a steady release pace of 3–4 new games per month, they combine creative vision with strong technical expertise.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys game development, takes ownership of features from concept to release, and wants to influence technical decisions within the team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop slot games using TypeScript / JavaScript (ES6+) from task to completed result.
• Optimize game performance across different devices and browsers.
• Participate in code reviews both as a reviewer and as an author open to feedback.
• Work closely with designers and other developers to achieve high-quality results.
• Take part in technical discussions and gradually influence technical decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in game development, browser or mobile.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript (ES6+).
• Practical experience with one or more frameworks: PIXI, Phaser, Cocos2d, Three.js.
• Understanding of core game development principles: game loop, state management, rendering optimization.
• Ability to complete tasks independently without constant supervision.
• Willingness to work in a team and openness to feedback.
