DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer.

Your daily work includes:
- Designing, building, and maintaining platform components in AWS to support our development infrastructure.
- Optimizing infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, ensuring robust monitoring and alerting.
- Troubleshooting complex production issues alongside cross-functional teams, ensuring high uptime and reliability.
- Leading on-call incident response and actively participating in service restoration when needed.
- Streamlining our CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes for rapid, reliable releases.
- Empowering the engineering team with automation solutions that accelerate development.

What you'll need to succeed:
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services (EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, Route53) and deep knowledge of scaling cloud environments.
- Backend Development: Proficiency in Python-based frameworks and microservices architectures.
- Containerization: Expertise in deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker, along with experience in migrating services to container orchestration tools like EKS and ECS.
- Database Management: Proven experience with relational databases like Postgres/MySQL, as well as NoSQL solutions like MongoDB/DynamoDB.
- CI/CD Mastery: Solid experience in building automated pipelines for testing and deployment, and working with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
- Security and Monitoring: A strong foundation in Linux systems, security best practices, and experience building monitoring and alerting systems with tools like DataDog or NewRelic.

Would be a plus:
- Experience working with Hetzner.
