Senior Java Backend/Fullstack Engineer - Payments

About the role
We're seeking an engineer experienced in Payment orchestration. It will be mostly Backend work with some easy Frontend tasks.
Our tech stack is mainly Java Spring Boot for Backend, Astro and different JS frameworks for Frontend.

Responsibilities
- Working with API integrations with multiple PSPs
- Creation and improvement of payment routing logic
- Supporting subscription billing logic
- Making sure the code is resilient and observable
- Working on tokenization flows
- Development of webhook handlers

Requirements
- Strong experience with Payment orchestration at specialized platforms or large E-commerce products

- Experience with Java 5+ years
- Experience with vault and network (Visa, MC) card data tokenization
- Experience with integrating PSPs (Stripe, Adyen, Venmo, etc.)
- English B2

- Experience developing payment orchestration functionality from scratch
