Eastern Peak is looking for a Senior QA Engineer who thinks in systems and edge cases. This person will own quality across Android, iOS, web, and backend products, with a core mission to design an exceptional set of test scenarios covering every meaningful user path. The hands-on implementation of those scenarios may be delegated to AI; the company needs the judgment to define what should be tested, why it matters, and how thoroughly it should be validated.
The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with engineers and product owners, surfacing underspecified requirements before they become bugs and proposing improvements informed by how other products and platforms solve similar problems. This role suits someone who sees the full decision tree behind every feature and turns ambiguity into clear, structured test artifacts.

What You'll Do:
• Own end-to-end test strategy across Android, iOS, web, and backend.
• Drive the creation of a comprehensive, high-quality set of test scenarios, mapping the full decision tree for every feature and the cases that follow from each branch.
• Partner closely with product owners to surface under-specification early and propose product improvements informed by how other products and platforms tackle similar challenges.
• Translate product requirements and edge cases into clear, structured test artifacts that engineers can act on directly.
• Delegate scenario implementation to AI tooling, then review and refine the output for correctness, coverage, and intent.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines so quality checks run automatically on every change.
• Triage, reproduce, and clearly document defects, then partner with engineers to drive them to resolution.
• Champion quality across the team by shaping best practices and advocating for the user.

What We're Looking For: 
• 5+ years of QA experience across mobile, web, and backend.
• Exceptional test-design thinking, including the ability to see and map possible decision trees and the scenarios that follow from them.
• A scenario-first mindset, with strong focus on what to test, why to test it, and how to validate coverage.
• Strong test methodology, including test design, planning, edge-case analysis, and risk assessment.
• Excellent artifact creation skills, including test plans, specifications, and reproduction documentation that make collaboration with developers efficient.
• Strong product partnership skills, including the ability to spot underspecified requirements and bring practical ideas to the table.
• Comfort leveraging AI to implement test scenarios, with the judgment to review and validate its output.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Hands-on automation understanding, with enough depth to guide, review, and trust automated suites.

Bonus Points:
· Performance and load testing experience.
· Familiarity with security testing fundamentals.
·  Experience with device farms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
· Accessibility testing know-how.
· A history of mentoring engineers and raising the quality bar across a team.
