Head of Delivery

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the Project Management Office (PMO).
• Mentor and develop Project Managers, helping them grow professionally and improve their delivery skills.
• Support Project Managers in resolving complex project situations, risks, escalations, and client-related challenges.
• Manage staffing across projects, including resource allocation, project transfers, and bench utilization.
• Work closely with Engineering, Recruitment, HR, Sales, and other departments to ensure smooth collaboration and successful project delivery.
• Help align different teams around common company goals and priorities.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and support career development planning for Project Managers.
• Improve and maintain project management processes, standards, and best practices.
• Drive the adoption of AI tools and approaches that can improve project delivery, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Communicate company updates, strategic decisions, and important information to employees.
• Present company achievements, project successes, and key updates during internal meetings.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• Experience in Project Management, Delivery Management, or a similar leadership role.
• Experience mentoring, managing, or developing Project Managers and teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery processes and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with staffing, resource planning, and team allocation.
• Interest in AI technologies and willingness to drive their adoption within delivery and project management processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level.

Will Be a Plus:

• Experience in software development (as a Developer, QA, Business Analyst, or other technical role).
• Experience building or improving PMO processes.
• Experience working in a service-based company.
• Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve delivery, project management, or team productivity.
