Business Development and Outbound Lead

Red Rocket Software is looking for a Business Development & Outbound Lead who will own and drive our outbound sales function โ€” from ICP development and go-to-market strategy to discovery calls, proposal creation, and lead generation team management.

We are looking not just for a salesperson, but for someone who thinks in terms of revenue, understands how to build scalable outbound systems, and wants to make a direct impact on business growth.

 

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

  • Own the outbound sales function end-to-end: ICP development, targeting, outbound strategy, discovery, and proposal creation.
  • Conduct discovery and qualification calls with international decision-makers (CEO, CTO, Founder, Head of Product).
  • Create and present tailored commercial proposals and service offerings.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy, predictable sales pipeline within CRM.
  • Research target markets, competitors, buyer signals, and new growth opportunities.
  • Develop, launch, and optimize outbound hypotheses (messaging, offers, proof points, CTAs).
  • Lead and coordinate the Lead Generation / SDR function.
  • Ensure messaging consistency and ICP alignment across outbound activities.
  • Build sales forecasts and provide regular pipeline reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership on revenue growth initiatives.

     

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales within IT services.
  • Experience in IT outsourcing, custom software development, or a digital agency environment.
  • Proven experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to signed contracts.
  • Strong discovery and qualification call experience.
  • Solid understanding of outbound sales through LinkedIn and Email channels.
  • Experience working with international markets (EU, UK, DACH is highly preferred).
  • Ability to define ICPs and work with buyer signals and intent-based outreach.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar.
  • English level B2+ or higher with strong client-facing communication skills.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring SDR / Lead Generation teams is a strong advantage.

     

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling dedicated teams, custom software development, or digital product services.
  • Experience with US or UAE markets.
  • Experience building outbound processes from scratch.
  • German language proficiency.
  • Previous experience in startups or small-to-medium service companies.
