Senior DevOps (AWS)

Responsibilities:

• High-Load Platform Optimization: Design, build, and optimize server-side platforms (Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL, Redis, message queues).
• Orchestration and Containerization: Architect and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized workloads (Docker, Helm, GitOps).
• Network Security: Design and operate secure network infrastructure, including firewalls (iptables, UFW, security groups, NACLs), reverse proxies, and L7/L4 load balancers.
• Threat Protection: Implement DDoS protection and WAF strategies (Cloudflare, rate-limiting, bot protection).
• Observability Stack Development: Build and maintain the observability stack, including metrics (VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus), APM (New Relic, OpenTelemetry), and centralized logging and alerting.
• Automation and CI/CD: Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and manage infrastructure lifecycle using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Architecture and Compliance: Participate in architecture design, reliability engineering, and capacity planning; ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness (PCI DSS, secrets management, access control).

What We Expect From You:

• Linux Expertise: Strong hands-on Linux expertise (Debian, Ubuntu, systemd, networking, performance tuning).
• Deep AWS Knowledge: Extensive experience with the AWS ecosystem, including Compute (EC2, ASG, EKS), Networking (VPC, Load Balancers, peering), Managed databases (RDS Aurora), and Messaging (SQS, Kafka).
• Database Operations: Strong database operations knowledge, including MySQL HA, replication, and backup strategies.
• Production Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster architecture, high availability (HA), upgrades, and disaster recovery (DR).
• Automation Tools: Mandatory proficiency in Terraform, experience with Ansible, along with scripting and automation skills in Bash and Python.
• CI/CD and GitOps: Advanced experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitOps practices.
• Cloudflare Expertise: Strong Cloudflare expertise covering DNS, CDN, WAF, and DDoS protection.
• Networking and Security: Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals (TLS, IAM, VPN, firewalling, zero-trust); experience in regulated environments or with security standards like PCI DSS is a significant plus.
