Trainee QA Engineer at Klickly Offline
Responsibilities
— Learn and develop a deep understanding of the software product being tested.
— Create, update, and maintain test cases, checklists, and basic product documentation under the guidance of senior QA team members.
— Perform functional testing of new features, product changes, and bug fixes.
— Participate in regression testing across different platform areas.
— Report bugs clearly in Jira.
— Communicate progress, blockers, and questions to your direct manager in a timely manner.
— Collaborate with QA, development, and product team members.
— Review requirements, designs, and existing documentation to better understand product behavior.
— Learn how to investigate production support requests and bug incidents.
— Be actively involved in team processes and continuously improve your QA skills.
Qualifications and Skills
— Strong understanding of software testing theory, testing methods, and QA processes.
— Understanding of test design techniques and ability to apply them to simple real-life examples.
— Ability to create clear test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
— Basic understanding of web applications, client-server architecture, browser DevTools, and HTTP requests.
— Basic SQL knowledge: ability to write simple SELECT queries with WHERE, ORDER BY, and basic JOINs.
— Basic understanding of API testing
— Basic understanding of databases; MongoDB knowledge will be a plus.
— Attention to detail and ability to carefully analyze product behavior.
— High motivation to learn, ask questions, receive feedback, and improve quickly.
— Basic Jira knowledge or willingness to learn it quickly.
— Intermediate or higher written English; willingness to improve spoken English.
It will be a big plus if you have
— Any practical experience with testing web applications, even from courses, pet projects, internships, or test tasks.
— Basic experience with e-commerce, e-marketing, fintech, banking, or other business domains.
— Basic experience with SQL, MongoDB, API testing, Postman, or browser DevTools.
— Understanding of calculations such as discounts, commissions, shipping, taxes, totals, or similar logic.
— Basic familiarity with platforms or services such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Stripe, or other payment/e-commerce systems.
— Basic understanding of Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or test automation.
— Any experience with JavaScript, Cypress, Mocha, or other automation tools.
