Junior QA Engineer

We're looking for a motivated Junior / Trainee QA Engineer who is eager to learn, develop their testing skills, and grow together with our product team.
 

📍 Important: on-site role in Lviv only. Candidates from other cities are not considered.
 

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications
• Execute functional and basic non-functional testing
• Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, checklists)
• Report, track, and verify bugs
• Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria
• Participate in test planning and execution
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure product quality
• Support release testing and regression testing activities
   

Requirements

• Understanding of software testing fundamentals and QA processes
• Knowledge of testing types, bug lifecycle, and test design techniques
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) or strong theoretical knowledge
• Experience creating test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports)
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)
• English level: Intermediate (B1+) or higher
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Desire to learn and grow in QA
   

Nice to Have

• Commercial QA experience (up to 1 year) or completed QA courses
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Understanding of automation testing concepts (Selenium or similar)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification
• Experience with load/performance testing tools
