Odoo Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in configuring Odoo and delivering business-focused implementations. The role is centered on requirements gathering, process mapping, system setup, and practical customization using Odoo Studio.

This is a senior, client-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, confidence working with business users, and the ability to translate operational needs into an effective Odoo setup. The consultant will lead workshops, run demos, support user acceptance testing, and deliver end-user training.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements gathering with business stakeholders.
• Configure Odoo modules and adapt workflows to business processes.
• Deliver practical customization using Odoo Studio, including fields, views, forms, automations, and reports.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with developers when custom code is required.
• Run solution demos, support UAT, and provide user training and onboarding.
• Assist with data migration preparation, go-live support, and post-implementation improvements.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience with Odoo ERP in functional consulting, implementation, or business analysis roles.
• Experience in accounting, inventory, manufacturing, sales, and CRM process implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience configuring core Odoo modules and delivering solutions for business users.
• Practical experience with Odoo Studio for no-code / low-code customization.
• Ability to gather and structure requirements, document processes, and translate them into system changes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and training skills in client-facing environments.
• Good written and verbal English.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work effectively with business users, project managers, developers, and QA throughout delivery.
• Own functional documentation, test scenarios, and clear handover of requirements.
• Build trust with clients through clear communication, structured workshops, and practical guidance.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Odoo.sh and Odoo Enterprise.
• Familiarity with data import, reporting, and migration support.
• Experience working with international clients or multi-country rollouts.
• Odoo certification(s).
