BI tools Engineer

Our international gambling client is undertaking a high-stakes, enterprise-level migration of their data infrastructure from Vertica to the Snowflake Data Cloud. We are seeking three (3) elite Engineering Consultants to join this ambitious, high-visibility project. The initiative requires significant heavy lifting in code refactoring and the subsequent development of advanced analytical reports.

Key Responsibilities

• SQL Migration & Refactoring: Perform extensive code conversion by rewriting complex legacy queries from Vertica language to optimized Snowflake SQL.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure all migrated data models and queries are highly performant within the Snowflake environment.
• Advanced Analytics Development: Build and maintain complex, enterprise-grade dashboards and reports using Tableau, ensuring seamless integration with the new Snowflake backend.
• Technical Consulting: Act as a subject matter expert, providing hands-on solutions to migration roadblocks and maintaining documentation for rewritten processes.

Requirements

• Proven Consulting Experience: Must demonstrate a track record of high-end, professional consulting experience. We are looking for mature professionals who can deliver independently.
• Snowflake Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Snowflake SQL. You must be comfortable with intensive, manual code rewrites from other MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) databases.
• Tableau Mastery: Expert-level capability in building complex, interactive reports and data visualizations.
• Communication: High-end, native-level fluency in English (both spoken and written). This is a client-facing role requiring precise communication.
