Role Overview

We are looking for Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer contractors who can embed within portfolio teams to produce reporting cubes and revenue analytics deliverables. Ideal candidates will bring a blend of technical depth, commercial awareness, project management skills, and preferably SaaS domain expertise.

What You'll Be Doing

• Embed within portfolio company data teams as a contractor
• Build and deliver data pipelines from raw source data to clean, validated output tables
• Produce reporting cubes and revenue analytics deliverables
• Reconcile pre- vs. post-migration data to maintain analytical continuity
• Translate business questions into technical implementations

Requirements

• Hands-on Technical Builder — Proficient in Python and SQL. Able to independently architect and deliver data pipelines from raw source data through to clean, validated output tables.
• Commercially Oriented — Ideally 2+ years in a consulting, advisory, or deal-support environment (e.g. Big 4, boutique analytics consultancy). Comfortable translating business questions into technical implementations.
• System & Data Migration Experience — Has worked on ERP, CRM, or billing platform migrations (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, Chargebee). Understands data quality pitfalls — duplicate customers, broken historical linkages — and knows how to reconcile pre- vs. post-migration data to maintain analytical continuity.
• Accounting or SaaS Exposure — Either an accountant by trade or someone with SaaS revenue analytics exposure. Familiar with subscription metrics (ARR, NRR, churn), snowballs, and billings-to-revenue reconciliations.
