Our partners are looking for an HR Director (HRD). LaFinteca is a financial technology company providing payment solutions across Latin America. Headquartered in Barcelona, LaFinteca operates to enhance financial accessibility and security for users. As the HR Director, you will build, scale, and manage our human resources infrastructure within an international fintech environment, designing and executing an HR strategy aligned with business expansion and cross-border goals.
๐ Tasks Description
1. Enhance Recruiting Process
- Standardize and scale end-to-end recruitment pipelines to handle growth across regional engineering and commercial teams.
- Oversee third-party recruiting agencies, establish performance SLAs, and lead executive-level talent acquisition.
- Manage LaFinteca's position in the fintech market by establishing a clear employer brand presence.
- Manage the candidate experience from initial outreach to onboarding for international integration.
2. Performance Management
- Design, launch, and manage performance frameworks (such as OKRs) to establish clarity and alignment across all departments.
- Partner with department heads to manage performance metrics, evaluations, and data-driven promotions.
- Establish feedback mechanisms, pulse surveys, and engagement initiatives to track and improve team retention.
- Utilize HR metrics and internal analytics to identify structural gaps and mitigate retention risks.
3. Development of Team and Competencies
- Define and map core competencies and technical proficiency standards across product and operations functions.
- Manage professional development initiatives, training programs, and employee access to technical certification paths.
- Build internal career paths, identification schemes for high-potential staff, and succession planning blueprints.
- Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance corporate culture that promotes learning across multi-national teams.
๐ ๏ธ Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role (HRD, Head of HR, or People Partner Lead) within an international setting.
- Experience operating within fintech, IT, payments, crypto, or related tech-driven industries.
- Demonstrated personal ownership, business acumen, and a track record of transforming business goals into HR operations.
- Leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills required to advise C-level executives.
- English: Fluent / Upper-Intermediate to Advanced level is mandatory for daily communication with international teams.
- Ukrainian or Russian: Mandatory / High proficiency required to align with specific international organizational units.
- Spanish: A strong plus for local entity management, labor dynamics, and local compliance.
๐ Employment Conditions
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 11:00 to 20:00 and Fridays 11:00 to 16:30
- Location & Format: Position is strictly onsite at our Barcelona, Spain office (Office-based format; no remote options available).
- Relocation: The company provides relocation support and assistance for selected international candidates moving to Barcelona.
