Senior Product Manager

Our partners are looking for a Senior Product Manager. LaFinteca is a licensed payment institution in Brazil, having secured authorization from the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) and officially gone live. In this senior role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product value proposition for the Brazilian B2B market, targeting local and international merchants entering Brazil. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and execution by analyzing competitor infrastructure, drafting comprehensive technical requirements, and directly managing external vendors delivering our core banking and digital application ecosystems.

📋 Tasks Description

1. Market Analysis & Product Value Proposition

• Analyze competitor payment institutions, fintechs, and neobanks in Brazil to define and differentiate LaFinteca’s B2B product offering.
• Audit and reverse-engineer competitor API documentation to extract functional capabilities and translate them into product requirements.
• Own the product definition and roadmap for digital accounts, Pix payments, merchant accounts, internet banking, mobile banking, onboarding, cards, and acquiring services.

2. Specification Development & Requirement Engineering

• Write clear Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and user stories with precise acceptance criteria.
• Create technical process flows and high-level API specification guidelines for the engineering and integration teams.
• Map operational and transactional logic for payment flows, onboarding, KYC, international payouts, and B2B merchant settlement.

3. Vendor Management & Delivery Control

• Act as the primary technical and product counterpart for external vendors supplying the core banking system, internet banking platform, and mobile applications.
• Define, assign, and control specific tasks for vendors including KYC/AML providers, card processors, Pix providers, and compliance systems.
• Manage vendor scope, timelines, delivery priorities, and functional quality to ensure alignment with launch and stability targets.

🛠 Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in product management within banks, licensed payment institutions, fintechs, PSPs, neobanks, or core banking vendors.
• Strong domain expertise across Brazilian payment infrastructure, including Pix rails, merchant acquiring, digital banking, and B2B payouts.
• Ability to read API documentation, understand integration architectures, and map web/mobile payment flows (no coding required).
• Demonstrated experience translating business needs into formal BRDs, FRDs, and task specifications for third-party development teams.
• English: Fluent (Mandatory for daily communication with international teams and management).
• Spanish: Upper-Intermediate / Fluent (Strong asset / Nice to have).
