M365 / Power Platform Developer (Java, Azure, SQL)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced M365 / Power Platform Developer to support and enhance business applications, workflows, and integrations within a Microsoft 365 environment.

The role combines low-code development using Microsoft Power Platform with traditional development and system integrations. The primary focus is Microsoft 365 technologies, while Java development is expected to cover a smaller portion of the overall workload.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Power Apps
• Build and support automated workflows with Power Automate
• Develop and maintain background services and integrations with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Create and maintain SQL scripts, scheduled jobs, and database interactions
• Implement integrations with Microsoft cloud services and APIs
• Modify and enhance reports, forms, and business processes within M365
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business solutions
• Support modernization initiatives and automation opportunities within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Provide recommendations regarding Microsoft Copilot and AI-related capabilities

Required Skills

Microsoft 365 & Power Platform

• Strong experience with Power Apps
• Strong experience with Power Automate
• Experience developing solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem

Development

• Java development experience
• Experience building background services, integrations, and APIs
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns

Databases

• MS SQL Server
• Azure SQL
• SQL scripting, automation, and scheduled jobs

Microsoft Azure & M365 Services

Experience with integrations involving:

• SharePoint Online
• Exchange Online
• Microsoft Teams
• Intune
• Microsoft Defender
• Microsoft Purview
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

Reporting & Forms

• Development and customization of reports and forms within M365

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Copilot experience
• AI integrations within Microsoft ecosystem
• Azure services and cloud-native development
• Microsoft certifications
