Payments Product Manager (FinTech)
We are hiring an Integrations / Payments Product Manager to support the successful integration of digital wallet and payment products with external merchants and partners. This is a coordination-heavy, technically fluent role sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Operations, and external stakeholders. This is not a software development position. However, it requires a strong technical mindset, deep understanding of APIs and integration workflows, and the ability to translate business needs into practical integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate merchant and partner integrations from initiation to go-live
- Support onboarding of new merchants using payment products
- Gather and document business and technical requirements
- Assist with MID creation and configuration activities
- Coordinate testing, certification, and rollout processes
- Support merchants using payment verification and related solutions
- Understand internal payment products and external systems
- Align integration requirements, priorities, and timelines
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners
- Ensure integrations follow best practices and established processes
- Act as primary point of contact for integration-related issues
- Investigate payment status, API, webhook, and configuration issues
- Coordinate resolution with Engineering and Operations
- Monitor integration performance and escalate when necessary
- Maintain integration documentation and guides
- Facilitate communication between internal and external teams
- Provide integration progress updates
- Ensure timely delivery of integration projects
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Commercial teams
- Identify optimization opportunities in onboarding and integration flows
- Stay updated on payment industry trends and best practices
- Improve partner experience and integration efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in integrations, implementation, product operations, or technical support
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams
- Proactive mindset and willingness to grow within fintech
Nice to Have
- Experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or digital wallets
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML
- Knowledge of merchant onboarding processes
- Understanding of payment processing and acquiring
- Experience supporting external partners during integration projects
- Experience using Postman, Swagger, or API documentation tools
