Senior Data Engineer

Join a team building a centralized Snowflake data platform designed to consolidate large volumes of operational, financial, and external data into a single, scalable foundation. In this role, you'll design and deliver high-throughput data pipelines, develop reliable data models with DBT, and help shape a modern platform architecture focused on performance, maintainability, and long-term scalability.

Required for this role

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and cost optimization
• Proven experience using DBT for data transformation and data modeling
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines for high-volume data ingestion and processing
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with distributed data systems
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
• Good understanding of Medallion architecture and modern data platform design principles
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar
• Ability to work effectively in environments with evolving requirements while managing multiple parallel delivery streams
• Strong ownership mindset with effective communication skills for collaborating with technical and business stakeholders

Your responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end data pipelines to ingest and process data from internal operational, financial, commercial, and third-party data sources
• Develop business-ready datasets using DBT transformations aligned with the Gold layer
• Design and optimize Snowflake data models following the Bronze / Silver / Gold Medallion architecture
• Deliver scalable, high-performance, cost-efficient, and maintainable data pipelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously refine solutions as business requirements evolve
• Ensure data quality and platform reliability through data validation, pipeline monitoring, and data freshness checks
• Contribute to a modular, loosely coupled data platform architecture designed for flexibility and reduced vendor dependency
• Work closely with distributed engineering teams to deliver multiple pipelines within ambitious delivery timelines
