Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst role is a critical position within a travel agency company, focusing on enhancing a customer-facing platform integrated with an intelligent chatbot. The primary objective is to analyze customer requests and behaviors to improve the recommendation and matching process, addressing challenges such as interpreting general customer inquiries and uncovering implicit preferences.

The project centers on a platform designed to assist users in selecting suitable travel offers through an integrated chatbot. A key challenge addressed is the interpretation of general customer requests that lack explicit preferences, requiring advanced analysis to infer user expectations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams, including developers, architects, QA engineers, business analysts, product owners, and technical leads, to deliver semantic search functionality and data-driven services.
• Define, document, and communicate business, user, and system requirements, supporting the full requirements lifecycle from planning and elicitation through testing, delivery, and business acceptance.
• Analyze complex business problems, identify relevant data sources, and evaluate solution options to provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
• Design and deliver high-quality data products, dashboards, and analytics solutions that support business growth and digital transformation across key markets.
• Create meaningful dashboards focused on answering key business questions and enabling self-service analytics.
• Work with cloud databases, data pipelines, and database structures, collaborating closely with data engineers and contributing to discussions around data architecture and solutions.
• Design, build, test, and deploy analytics applications, owning and evolving the AI/Search architecture roadmap in coordination with Domain and Group Architecture teams.
• Ensure solutions balance customer impact, security, compliance, and cost, promoting secure behaviors and security-first practices in all activities.
• Contribute actively to the Analytics community and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
