Business Analyst

๐ What You'll Be Doing
- Pre-sales & sales support โ gathering and analyzing preliminary business requirements, RFP analysis, BRD creation, participation in HLD design and CPD preparation
- Requirements elicitation โ analyzing passive sources (existing documentation, regulatory frameworks, GDPR), proactive stakeholder engagement: interviews, facilitated sessions, business process research
- Requirements formalization โ transforming business needs into clear, measurable requirements; classification (business, functional, non-functional, regulatory, integration); prioritization; change traceability
- Technical documentation & modeling โ preparing HLD, SRS, TSD, SDD; describing business processes using BPMN, UML, DFD, ERD, C4, DMN, CMMN, EPC; creating diagrams in draw.io
- Development & testing support โ clarifying business logic, participating in grooming/refinement sessions, analyzing incidents and change requests, ensuring implementation aligns with agreed requirements
โ Must Have
- Strong communication skills โ ability to clearly explain complex concepts, proactively initiate dialogue, facilitate discussions, and elicit hidden or unspoken requirements from stakeholders
- Understanding of business-to-technical requirements transformation โ decomposing business requirements into functional specs, formulating technical and operational requirements, identifying "hidden" requirements from stakeholder conversations and documentation
โ Should Have
- 3+ years of BA experience in relevant projects (enterprise IT, B2B, public sector) with a proven track record in requirements gathering, formalization, and system modeling from concept to implementation
- Knowledge of modeling notations โ C4, DFD, EPC, BPMN, UML, ERD, DMN, CMMN and confident use of diagramming tools (draw.io)
- Project documentation experience โ BRD, RFP, SRS, SDD, TSR, TSD โ from concept and structure to final formalization and defense before review committees
- Domain understanding โ DWH/DH/DL systems, current state of AI/ML and its practical applications
๐ก Could Have (Advantage)
- English or German at B1+ level โ for working with international clients and documentation
- Experience with enterprise solutions โ ERP, WMS, B2B portals
- Process automation experience โ from individual operations to end-to-end cross-departmental workflows

If sharing real artifacts isn't possible, you may optionally prepare a sample case:
"McDonald's Ordering Process" โ model the process with at least 3 entry points, ending with "Customer received the order." Describe roles, software, and devices involved. Format is up to you (text, diagrams, use cases) โ please don't spend more than 2โ3 hours on it.
