Volpis is looking for a Part-Time WordPress Developer to support and grow our corporate website.

This role focuses on custom WordPress development rather than page-builder assembly. You’ll work closely with our design, marketing, and content teams to build new pages, implement custom blocks, maintain site performance, and improve the overall user experience.

 

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of WordPress development experience;
  • Experience building and maintaining custom WordPress themes;
  • Experience developing custom blocks and reusable content components;
  • Experience working on marketing, corporate, or content-heavy websites;
  • DevOps and hosting management experience.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong PHP and WordPress core knowledge;
  • Experience building custom WordPress solutions without relying on Elementor or similar page builders;
  • Gutenberg and ACF experience;
  • Solid HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript skills;
  • Ability to translate Figma designs into clean, maintainable code;
  • Website performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, caching, page speed);
  • Technical SEO implementation (schema, metadata, sitemaps, semantic markup);
  • Git and structured deployment workflows;
  • Ability to perform self-QA before release;
  • Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining quality;
  • Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail;
  • WordPress security best practices;
  • Intermediate+ English.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve volpis.com;
  • Develop new landing pages, service pages, and case studies from Figma designs;
  • Create and extend custom themes and Gutenberg blocks;
  • Optimize website performance and technical SEO;
  • Manage updates and releases safely using staging environments;
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content specialists;
  • Proactively identify bugs, performance issues, and improvement opportunities.
