Interview Engineer (Python / Full-Stack)

This role starts as a full-time engagement for the first 3 months, with the possibility to transition to a part-time format afterwards β making it a great fit for engineers looking for flexibility down the line.

Their model pairs experienced engineers with standardized interview frameworks to help organizations hire more accurately and fairly β at scale, across the globe. As an Interview Engineer, you'll play a key role in that mission, helping companies identify exceptional talent while creating meaningful career opportunities for developers around the world.
What you'll do in this role
- Interview β Facilitate live technical interviews through the platform with software engineering candidates worldwide. Build a professional, inclusive experience while assessing fundamental coding skills, problem-solving ability, and technical knowledge.
- Evaluate β Deliver structured, objective feedback on each candidate's coding style, technical approach, communication, and knowledge-question responses β using established criteria that mitigate bias and improve hiring signal.
- Partner β Collaborate with the client's internal teams to test and refine interview content, processes, and platform features, contributing your frontline perspective to continuous improvement.
We're looking for
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or Engineer, with strong Python proficiency and at least a working understanding of frontend technologies (e.g. JavaScript, React, or similar).
- Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Excellent English communication skills β written and spoken β with the professionalism to put candidates from any background at ease.
- Ability to deliver objective, structured assessments under a consistent evaluation framework.
- Reliable webcam, microphone, and stable internet connection.
How to knock our socks off
- Previous experience conducting technical interviews (data structures, algorithms, system design)
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or guiding other engineers technically.
- Interest in talent assessment, interviewing methodologies, or inclusive hiring practices.
- Naming five or more dishes that include beetroot besides borshch.
