The client is looking for a full-stack developer + solution engineer/business analyst (mixed role).
The candidate must be familiar with software development to work as a developer with him and as a BA with his client. So the candidate should have good soft skills too.
The client is looking for a specialist for his own company, which is based in Zurich.
A middle level candidate with 3 or 4 years of experience is fine for the client.
The person should keep working on growing the clientβs company and also help to develop the client's digital product.

This role is designed to help you grow into a Forward Deployed Engineer profile.
The Role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer/Business Analyst to support the evolution of a
consumer-facing GenAI chatbot within a global ecosystem. You will translate consumer needs
into structured functional requirements that enable intelligent, measurable, and compliant
solutions in a regulated industry, while contributing to the design and development of a SaaS
product from scratch. This role is offered on a contractor basis.
What You Will Do
- Elicit, challenge, and formalize functional requirements, ensuring each use case is grounded in clear customer value and business impact
- Produce high-quality documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data flows, and system dependency mappings
- Design end-to-end conversational flows across voice, chat, and email channels, aligned with brand tone and regulatory requirements
- Partner with the Product Owner, engineering, data, and business teams to refine the backlog and support release planning
- Map dependencies across the architecture stack, including CRM, CTI, case management, knowledge base, commerce, and adjacent systems
- Support UAT, post-release reviews, and continuous improvement cycles
- Design and develop a SaaS product unrelated to the GenAI chatbot initiative
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or similar
- Proven Business Analyst experience (or similar) with strong stakeholder management across cross- functional and multi-vendor environments !!!
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills !!!
- Experience writing clear, structured, and testable functional requirements
- Proactive, fast learner, and comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Strong full-stack engineering skills across UI/UX, SDLC, and infrastructure architecture
Strong Plus
- Previous experience on consumer-facing GenAI or conversational AI products
- Previous exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) solutions and agentic architectures
- Experience in large corporate environments, ideally within consumer goods, FMCG or regulated industries (tobacco, alcohol, pharma)
- Familiarity with knowledge management, RAG pipelines and prompt governance
- Awareness of data privacy, content moderation and age-gating in consumer channels
