PSP Lead
About the role
We are looking for an experienced PSP Lead to join a fast-growing international betting and gambling project expanding into Argentina and Chile, with future plans to enter additional LATAM and African markets. As the PSP Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing the entire payment ecosystem for new markets. You will work closely with payment providers, banks, fintech partners, compliance teams, and senior management to ensure seamless deposits and withdrawals, maximise conversion rates, and optimise payment performance across all customer touchpoints. This is a hands-on role requiring strong knowledge of LATAM payment methods, PSP integrations, transaction routing, risk management, and payment optimisation within the iGaming industry.
What you’ll do (day to day)
- Research and onboard payment providers and alternative payment methods for Argentina and Chile.
- Build and optimise cascading payment structures to maximise transaction approval rates.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with PSPs, banks, and payment service providers.
- Monitor deposit and withdrawal performance, approval ratios, chargebacks, and transaction costs.
- Analyse payment data and identify opportunities for optimisation and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams during integrations and launches.
- Coordinate technical integrations between PSPs and internal development teams.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and payment industry standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing payment partners and identify new opportunities.
- Troubleshoot payment issues and coordinate resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare regular reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Support future market launches across LATAM and Africa.
What you’ll need
- Minimum 3 years of PSP Management experience within the iGaming, Betting, or Online Gambling industry.
- Proven experience working with LATAM payment markets, particularly Argentina and/or Chile.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, transaction flows, acquiring, and alternative payment methods.
- Existing network of PSPs, payment providers, fintech companies, and banking contacts.
- Experience managing payment integrations from initiation to go-live.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- English - business level
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of self-organisation and ownership.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to have
- Previous experience with African payment ecosystems.
- Knowledge of anti-fraud, AML, and KYC processes.
- Experience with payment orchestration platforms.
- Russian language proficiency. - not for djinni
